# CFunction.release

Release a prepared native function handle.

```js
boundFunction.release()
```

## Arguments

No arguments.

## Returns

No return value (`undefined`).

## Example

```js
const length = C.bind("strlen", {returns: "size_t", args: ["cstring"]});
length.release();
```

## Notes

Further calls fail; obtain a new binding if needed.
