# Element.getTree

Inspect the nested UI/accessibility hierarchy. Scoped to descendants.

```js
element.getTree()
```

## Arguments

No arguments.

## Returns

Nested tree object; traversal is bounded.

## Example

```js
const panel = UIHelper.waitForElement({id: "panel"}, 5000);
console.log(JSON.stringify(panel.getTree()));
```

## Notes

The parent must still be valid. See the matching UIHelper method for options. Placeholder panel/child identifiers require inspection.
