# Element.tap

Activate an element once.

```js
element.tap()
```

## Arguments

No arguments.

## Returns

The same element for chaining.

## Example

```js
const element = UIHelper.waitForElement({id: "target", visible: true, enabled: true}, 5000);
element.tap();
UIHelper.waitForElement({id: "nextScreen", visible: true}, 5000);
```

## Notes

Example selectors must be inspected first. Uses semantic activation with a physical-tap fallback; always verify the resulting state.
