# ObjC.close

Release a native session and invalidate its references.

## Arguments

No arguments.

## Returns

No return value (`undefined`).

## Example

```js
const app = RemoteObjC.forApp("com.apple.Preferences");
app.close();
```

## Notes

Start with [Objective-C step by step](/doc/objc). Also available on app = RemoteObjC.forApp(bundleId) as app.close(). Also invalidates this client’s C handles. Remote cleanup is best effort when unreachable.
