# ObjCOut.value

Read an object output parameter after a native call.

output.value
```

## Arguments

No arguments.

## Returns

Object proxy or null. Initially null; reset before the box is used again.

## Example

```js
const error = ObjC.out();
console.log(error.value); // null before a native call
```

## Notes

Obtain output from ObjC.out() or app.out(); pass it where a method expects an object output such as NSError**. Read [ObjC.out](/doc/api/objc-out) for a complete file-reading example. Release any returned object proxy when finished; the box itself has no release method.
