# GET /apps/list

Find installed apps by name or bundle ID.

This is a device HTTP route. Set `DEVICE_URL` to your reachable device URL; [connection and examples](https://mcp.applesauceos.com/doc/http.md) explain how. Do not append this path to the public MCP URL.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Meaning |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | query string | Optional case-insensitive substring; default all apps. |
| `limit` | query string | Integer 1..300; default 100. |

## Response

JSON {apps:[{bundleId,name}],limit}. The result is capped, not paginated.
