# GET /scripts/runs

Inspect one saved-script run or recent journals.

This is a device HTTP route. Set `DEVICE_URL` to your reachable device URL; [connection and examples](https://mcp.applesauceos.com/doc/http.md) explain how. Do not append this path to the public MCP URL.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Meaning |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `id` | query string | Optional UUID returned by scripts/run; omit to list journals. |

## Response

Without id: {runs:[...]}. With id: journal containing id,path,entryPath,state,startedAt,finishedAt,logs,droppedLogs and error fields when present.

## Example

```sh
curl --fail-with-body "$DEVICE_URL/scripts/runs?id=RUN_UUID"
```

## Notes

States: running, completed, failed, stopped. Up to 30 finished journals plus active runs; at most eight journaled runs may be active. Journals reset when the device automation process restarts. A missing ID returns 404. List summaries omit logs.

Check the HTTP status and any JSON error. [HTTP workflows and error handling](https://mcp.applesauceos.com/doc/http-guide.md) explain shared limits. [All endpoints](https://mcp.applesauceos.com/doc/http.md).
